ABOUT ME
Jennifer Lindsley established ACME art Gallery and mural studio in 1999 in New Orleans, LA. ACME served as a fully operational gallery space and teaching studio until 2005 when Jennifer relocated to Durham, North Carolina. Since her arrival in NC, Jennifer maintains employment as a art teacher for the Durham Public School System, and teaches art classes privately. Additionally, Jennifer has remained close to her roots as a muralist and has completed pieces for Genesis Home in Durham, several private residences, restaurants, and schools. EducationBA in Art Design Technology, University of Northern Colorado, Greely, Colorado.Associate of Arts in Dramatic Acting, American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Los Angles, CaliforniaNicholls State University, Thibodaux, Louisiana- Accelerated Fine Arts European Studies Program Abroad. Professional ObjectiveMy teaching technique is designed to bring out the artist in everyone. Individual instruction or in a scholastic atmosphere, I strive to connect with each student to help develop their own ideas and explore their own creative potential. As an instructor I find it personally rewarding to help each student expand his or her imagination and art appreciation. We will cover everything from Michelangelo to Monet, 2 and 3 dimensional work, the creative process and beyond.
